Am I the only one thinking AI is being played out hard in Gym community?

I can’t be alone in thinking these AI adds are generic looking and being overused. You know which ones I’m talking about. I mean so many people are using the same exact template. From seminars, to come try my class adds, etc… they all look generic and the same. I get the convenience factor for some but come on guys we can do better.

I was just talking about this a lot recently with my wife, and I personally agree, but one thought I said to her was "I wonder what the current effect is?"

    • Does it negatively affect them?

    • Does it positively affect them?

    • Or is there no difference at all?

Even a no difference at all is a "positive" affect for a business owner because they save time, save money, are able to create graphics they never were able to in such a quick time.

I don't think people realize that unfortunately AI is not going anywhere. This is the new evolution. If I personally were able to turn it off, I would, even though I have used it for my benefit.

So if a person has a seminar or a business flyer, does an AI poster affect them positively or negatively?

For me, the biggest issue is that they don't even use any creative thought. They could actually have AI make unique graphics, but they take 1 minute to make a graphic and then are done.

If you think of it, though an academy owner went from:

    • Not being able to make a flyer to being able to make one in one minute.

    • Having to wait days for a graphic artist to make a flyer, or being able to have one in one minute, or they would need to spend the time to make one themselves for longer.

    • Having to pay $50 to hundreds of dollars for a flyer to be able to have one in a minute for much lower cost.

    • They had a hard time making new flyers over and over to now being able to make a flyer right away whenever they want.

That's hard to resist as a business owner for sure. You see it everywhere now, and eventually it's probably just going to be what people are used to.

I don’t think you’re alone, mainly because every other Instagram post these days are saying exactly the same thing

My take. Bad AI is painfully obvious. Same cinematic lighting, same fake muscles, same vaguely terrified-looking grapplers with six fingers. For me the issue isn’t really AI, it’s originality. If everyone is feeding roughly the same idea into the same tools and accepting the first thing that comes back, of course everything starts looking identical.

Used well, AI can help you make something genuinely different. Used lazily, it just lets you produce generic stuff faster. People are giving ai the creative endeavours and doing the dull repetitive work themselves. It should be the other way round. AI is the tool to do the dull repetitive work around the creativity you inject into it.

I use AI for EVERYTHING. I give it proper prompts. I do the creative thinking for it and I reiterate continuously until it has the result I wanted but didn't have the talent to pull off. Over time, my agents have picked up the quirks I need in my content and the process is 100 times faster than when I first started using it.

People are skipping the part where they build their own voice into the machine because they actually takes effort.

@Pred500 this 100%, I can't stop AI, so I'll make sure I'm of the best in my niche when it comes to using AI
