4 Stripe Brown belt here.
My coach has been a black belt for 7 years now. His coach has been a black belt since the 90s under Carlos Machado. My coaches coach never followed through with getting stripes on his black belt, so my coach doesn't have black belt stripe ranks either.
When I become a black belt, I would like to follow the tradition of getting stripes every three years.
How can I accomplish this?
Do I have to get affiliated under another coach?
Thoughts?
