My favorite one is an ankle pick, while using my shoulder to keep them pinned to the cage.

What is ”efficient” depends entirely on how your opponent is postured and where their base is, and also what techniques you’re good at. Just like any other part of grappling or combat sports, if you want to get good at a certain area, it’s best to work with an experienced coach and spend the time to learn a variety of techniques, then figure out which ones suit your body type and stylistic preferences.

For starters, when you are pressing your opponent against the wall with an underhook:
    Kouchi gari
    Ouchi gari
    Kosoto gari
    Break down to all fours
    Lift from double underhooks
    Knee tap
    Ankle pick
    Double leg
    Head-inside snatch single leg
Lift from head-outside single (high crotch lift)

When you are being pressed against the wall and you have an overhook, these are some basic starter moves:
Pummel for the arm drag to escape or reverse positions
Pummel for the underhook to escape or reverse positions
Harai goshi / ashi guruma to throw, escape, or get to front headlock

When we do wall drills, I will allow uke an under hook, but take a tight over hook on that same arm and use it for a lat drop. Pulls him clean off the wall and puts me in side control.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Would be awesome if Jason did a course on this subject.
