I do 30-60 mins of mobility-focused training per day which is mostly stretching. I mostly do the same thing and I feel like it is mostly maintenance but I am wondering whether there is any specific mobility exercises I should focus on improving which would be beneficial to my BJJ/MMA game. I remember hearing a Joe Rogan podcast where he mentioned that BJ Penn had some mobility routines that improved his game.
Be sure to check out some of the experts on the site.
Expert Shawna Rodgers has Yoga videos available geared towards grappling mobility.
In addition there are solo grappling drills, grappling exercises, joint mobility, and much more under expert Jason Scully.

I can recommend flexible steel for general flexibility. It improves my overal flexibility like hips movements and provide wider angles. It improves my satbility in passing and my bottom guard game. When you have time and passion you can try books from Pavel Tsatsouline ot this topic he goes much deeper
@@Jason_Scully has a great workout on YouTube
And there's a Yoga course on here too.
Stretching is not the same as mobility and can actually be a liability if you’re not strengthening yourself in those areas as well. Look at Functional Range Conditioning and their Kinstretch classes for actual mobility. You can find Phil Daru employing those techniques. Christina Gonzalez is also a BJJ black belt with classes online. •••Christina Gonzales••• is on Instagram • 2,313 posts on their profile

I think GMB is the best of the options I've seen. The only problem is time and motivation lol. When I lead the warm ups at my school I'm selfish and we do the mobility stuff I'm struggling with. It's better than the usual pushups, sit-ups and 10 second stretch crap.
I'll talk to Ryan Hurst (Owner of GMB) and see if he may be interested in filming a program for the GG. He's been a GG member for a very long time.

I use some of the GMB stuff .They are generous with free stuff and I've bought 2 short courses. The issue is fitting it in. It is definitely complementary and I love their philosophy on movement. Ryan might be open to it however they have just launched a new program sequences which builds on elements. I also found Yoga for BJJ very helpful and still use some of the simpler routines.

Bulletproof for bjj is the best around
I have ultra tight shoulders and do arthritic changes they aren't going to substantially improve but one stretch I've found that is making a big difference at least in reducing the aches and pains is dead hanging from a bar a few days a week. I cheat and use straps because I don't want to be limited by my grip. I also started on a lat pull down machine because my bodyweight was too high to just jump into it. I do about 2mins total. Sets of 30 seconds with BW or 2 minutes straight with less weight on the lat machine (less than half my BW currently)
There is a shoulder mobility course here on the site
