I just listen to Stronger by science podcast abour goals and resutions. Actually very many were still working on them after 6 months. I usually forget them in February or so.
My new skill or actually a very old skill but been on a hold for 30 or so years…is kicking. I’ll start kickboxing in January.
This will give me a new point of view for takedowns and grappling even thou kickboxing is not about takedowns and pins, but I am!
Do you want to share your ”new year’s resolution”?

Mine is to get to class more and start a Yoga and flexibility routine at home for when I can’t
My new year's resolution is to find time for strength and conditioning or cardio outside of jits at least once a week. I was doing this but hit a hectic period and it was something that went out the window.
Mine is to train jiu jitsu at least 4x a week and take in at least 2 hours of content off the mat weekly whether it is grapplers guide, instructional/seminars, or matches. So far I have done this for 6 weeks so I will hit the New Year with some momentum behind my resolution hopefully making it easier to stick to
Mine is to have more mma fights so I can get signed to the UFC, and win a combat sambo world title.

Mine are to devote an hour of study per week, continue to drop in to all the area schools, become more consistent with weight training, continue hosting BJJ open mats for ladies. I would also love to get the BJJ community involved in some sort of civic effort; I am thinking a clothing drive to support the men's halfway house I work for. That's probably too many!
OMG my new years resolution is to stretch every day.
