    Question about courses

Hello everybody, I have been a member of the grapplers guide for a few months now and I have been going through the fundamental courses which include, Fundamentals simplified, fundamentals phased based and core curriculums. I have watched all the videos in the two fundamentals courses and I am now on the last one which is core curriculum, Now I was just wondering after I complete a the core curriculums, where do I go from there as in what courses should I do immediately after the 3 fundamental courses, thanks everyone.

It will be up to you. As you gain more experience and training, you will eventually know what you want to know. As a white belt, I always go back to fundamentals and core curiculum, and search on what was taught by my coach for review. I just patttern what I watch on what was being taught in training.

Also it is not only about watching, it is more so about practicing / drilling what you have watched which really takes time.

very new here. I have seen that there are intracourse charts linking topics together. Are there any charts linking entire courses together?
Is there an opportunity to build my own chart?

Aratek the new charting system allows you to build your own course outline and links. It's quite possible we have people on here who have mapped courses out already and I'm not sure about sharing how that would work. I seem to recollect in the earlier GG versions there were course charts? Maybe others can chip in and let me/you know.

We do have the ability to turn all courses into charts as well and we do plan on doing that. It's just going to take a bit of time because there's so much.

As a white belt, I found it useful to fill out the BJJ game plan (there is a free template somewhere on this site) so I could see how techniques linked together and where there were gaps in my game (and there were plenty to choose from). Identifying those gaps helped me focus what to work on next. As I moved higher up in the ranks, my training partners showed me what I needed to work on (by submitting me). Learning by necessity made certain lessons stick harder than those that were learned for amusement or curiosity.

Where do you find yourself getting stuck?
Where do you find yourself gravitating towards?
What are you getting submitted with?
What top positions are you finding yourself in with no options for submission?

The answers to these questions will start to shape your personal BJJ game as you can then search for one of the four answers in the grapplers guide and start building new avenues for yourself.

Jason has also just started up Assignments/Contests that direct you to a specific course and encourage you to actively engage. If the paralysis of choice is an issue then you can't go far wrong by just diving into something and what better to dive into than the focus of the month for (at least some of) the grapplers guide community.

First I would like to apologize since this does not pertain to the original question in this thread but, I am wondering what this enrolling into a course is. I had purchased a lifetime subscription to this site a few years back but lost the log-in and now it has changed and asks if I'm sure about enrolling. What's happening?

Enrolling just means it will help you track what courses you are “active” in. You can go to your “Enrolled Courses” in the left sidebar and see what courses you are actively participating in.

I don't see the option "Enrolled Courses" when I click the hamburger menu (top left) and then open the dropdown of "Courses". I only see Course Playlists, Completed Courses, Incomplete Courses and My Notes. I'm guessing you mean "Incomplete Courses" or there's some other way to see "Enrolled Courses"? (btw it would be great if the ordering of the enrolled courses/incomplete courses was from "higher completion percentage -> lower completion percentage"

That was super weird that you didn’t have access to the “enrolled courses”! Check now you should see it.

That’s a good idea. We’ll put that in our “to do” for features.
