    Texas BJJ

    Training
    by pleavindring12/27/2022(edited)

    Hi all,

In April next year I'll be in Texas for two weeks, split between Houston, Dallas and Austin. Where are some good places to train there? I am a blue belt so don't think I am 'allowed' into B team as I think you need to be at least purple there.
    Thanks.

Replying to this thread so I can see answers and come back to it as I will want to note them down for the future. Bump for visibility maybe.

The B team posted a video 10 days ago and they said you can train there if you’re a blue belt or above Youtube: pRNghspbWLU:472

If you end up in Houston or surrounding areas, these two spots are awesome:
Revolution Dojo (Jeff Messina head instructor)
Renzo Gracie The Grove (head instructor Michael Ocampo)
Two of my favorite gyms and I always try to get by them when I am in town.

There are two of the Machado brothers in Dallas. Carlos and John. I train under John Machado in Allen (just north of Dallas)
