Glad to see them back. I hope they become as active as before. It has become a FB world.
I think it will...the GG has tens of thousands of members now and I also have some plans like last time to help motivate activity.
I also think a good amount of people want to use FB little less. This may help with that

As a really new member, I'm looking forward to lots of helpful tips on the new forums!
Excited for this forum. It’s fun talking to and sharing ideas with other practitioners. Especially when we can’t practice because of COVID. It keeps jiu-Jitsu on the mind!
It's great to have forums again, thank you! I love having something separate from social media.
What a wonderful surprise. Thanks @@Jason_Scully. Never used Facebook.

I'm excited to see what kind of interaction we can get through these forums. I haven't trained since covid hit, but I'm close to coming back and I'm super excited about it!
It's great to see the OG members coming back to the forums so soon! Good to see @@ptbeast, @@afulldeck, @@JRT6 ... @@crossover was very active on the old forums I know.
I wonder how @@JAGMD is doing? And if @@jeiteki is still training?
I am still thinking about problem solving as an idea to build lessons on. I do like to make a progress. Like match starts standing and follow the story from there. Challenge is that most people have the hardest time starting standing. I think it can be thought with out a risk of getting hurt. (Like the post I made about park wrestling.) It just stops before actual takedown or throw.
So I’ll start standing and start solving problems there. First would be how to get a dominant grip or tie up.
Bookmarked :)

This is a good topic, but maybe should be separate from the original thread here? Might gain more traction?

I feel like Just reading all of the responses in all of the threads is helping me learn a lot. Many of the people have the same questions that I would have. So I am pretty pumped on the GG forums being available.
Thanks for creating this forum function for Grapplers Guide. One thing I disliked about other MMA/BJJ forums is the trolling and disrespect. I’ve found the grapplers guide forum and the facebook group discussions much more respectful which I came to really appreciate. I look forward to discussing and learning more about grapplers guide and BJJ.

Hi Jason. How do I ask / post a question on the discussion forums? Im clearly thick as for not knowing this. Thanks. Billy
CoachBoze, post: 62727, member: 33107
I’m not Jason, obviously, but if you’re trying to make a new thread, at the top of the forum page there should be a button. Is that what you meant?
bexy, post: 62728, member: 9662
Yes, sorry I thought I clicked on Jasons name (therefore displaying my thickness) haha. Yay there is no button, this was why I was asking. Sorry to have nipped your head CoachBoze. Ill go ask again, see if its maybe an admin thing. Thanks :)
Let me look into this and see why some people may not see the new thread button
