Alex Ecklin is a third-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro and founder of Masterskya, headquartered on Canal Street in Manhattan with a Brooklyn location at CrossFit 718. As a colored belt he medaled at IBJJF Worlds, Europeans, No-Gi Pans, American Nationals and multiple International Opens, and competed professionally for Rise Invitational, Fight2Win, and Eddie Bravo Invitational. He now leads Masterskya's instruction, built around his "G-Roll" methodology for developing modern, concept-based grapplers.
