Danny (Daniel) Maira is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Mikey Musumeci who trained extensively with Marcelo Garcia at Alliance New York, and is co-founder of Movement Art Jiu-Jitsu in Warminster, Pennsylvania alongside Nicholas Salles. He won the Pan American Championships in both gi and no-gi at brown belt in 2020 and has placed at the IBJJF Black Belt Worlds in both gi and no-gi divisions. He teaches a concept-based curriculum, the Movement Art System, and has released instructional content with Salles.
