Emily Kwok is a 3rd-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Ricardo Almeida, based in New Jersey. She is the first Canadian woman to earn a BJJ black belt and become a world champion, a multiple-time IBJJF World Champion, and a former MMA competitor. Kwok co-owns and co-head-instructs Princeton Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and co-founded Groundswell Grappling Concepts, focusing her teaching on technical fundamentals and coaching for competitors and hobbyists alike.
