I’ll done the routine few times. I just need to trust the process. Can’t even get my foot to horizon level :) BUT I think I’ll get my mobility to a level that I can enter an introductional/basic level course for kickboxing.

Awesome! I'll have to give this a try. I have some arthritis in my left hip, but hopefully I with effort and time I can still work up to high kicks.

I recommend dynamic stretching before muay thai workouts

Looking forward to giving this a try, Im also doing stuff to work on balance with my son. I've been doing martial arts for years so my balance is good. I used to be good at kicking, used to train with a TKD guy who had us do a lot of partner drills. Good times.

I think I need to modify my kicks to get them higher.

Maybe we can start a thread and ask for constructive criticism, sometimes it works out well. I've seen it done in Facebook with some success.

Sure. Lets pick a subject and start a thread. I think we can do it on SG. Also we could try some tools that SG has. Not sure what we have at the moment :) like a blog, mind map, video and so on…
    o
Oh yeah, I know there are tools like that on GG, I wonder if it is on all the guide sites.

@Jason_Scully Do we have the same tools in SG as with GG?

The SG has flow chart software. If there is interest, I can possible add a blog to the site.
    o
Do the other sites have blog capabilities? I will have to check those out, I do have a membership to all the sites. I Need to start utilizing some of those features.
    o
@Jason_Scully - What is the "media" feature, is that for uploading clips or pics of training or things we want to share? Seems like a neat feature to take advantage of.

That is my take on it. And you can link pics and vids to your thread.

Blog could be a tool for starting a conversation? Like asking a question and giving some information about own thoughts and understanding.

@oldmanstillcan Do you have a question you’d like to start with? Lets make a post/thread and see if we can get this going?

Hmmmm Ill have to think about it. I've been wondering about Muay Thai kicks, I've been training for a while, meaning I started in my 20s the past two years I haven't been as active but I have been working with my son. Maybe I can give it a try this weekend.

I will start doing that more, I need more power in my head kicks.
